Arsenal are set to net £3million if Barcelona win the Champions League as part of the deal that took Thomas Vermaelen to Catalonia.
Despite the defender not playing a single minute for Luis Enrique’s side due to injuries, the Gunners will claim the hefty bonus if Barca defeat Juventus in Berlin.

Vermaelen has had injury problems since signing for Barca and is yet to appear in a game for his new club
The Belgian defender arrived at the Catalan club with an injury and has only recently returned to full training
Barcelona made it to the final in Berlin with a 5-3 aggregate win over Bayern Munich, with three Neymar goals
The transfer that took Vermaelen to the Nou Camp included a raft of club-related bonuses, one of which being that Arsenal would be paid £3m if Barca win the Champions League.
The payment clause does not take into account the Belgian’s involvement.
Barca paid £15million for Vermaelen last summer, a significant fee given the defender has suffered from injuries in recent years.
And the extra £3m, which can go into Arsene Wenger’s summer transfer fund, further enhances Arsenal’s shrewd decision to sell Vermaelen.
