Wolfsburg sporting director Klaus Allofs claims the club 'wouldn't even flinch' if the likes of Manchester United or Manchester City offered £35m for Kevin De Bruyne.
The Belgian has been one of the stars of the Bundesliga this season, scoring 15 goals and weighing in with 25 assists.
The attacking midfielder only moved to Wolfsburg in January 2014, arriving from Chelsea for £18m after struggling to secure a first-team spot at Stamford Bridge.
But such has been the level of the 23-year-old's performances that he has been linked with a return to the Premier League.
Both Manchester clubs are said to be preparing big-money moves, while Paris Saint-Germain are also monitoring the situation.
It was thought a bid of £35m could secure De Bruyne, but Wolfsburg's sporting director Allofs has now upped the ante by saying even that is not enough.
"[£35m] seriously? We wouldn't even flinch at an amount like that," Allofs Sky Deutschland.
