Coach Louis van Gaal has requested of Manchester United the need to splash out £150million on four of the world’s best players, good enough to win him silverware, according to the reports.
United are in the process of re-building and reshaping their first team squad for the new season, its a process that has started with the arrival of Memphis Depay coupled with the departure of some of the established players.
According to reports the list of targets include Ajax goalkeeper Jasper Cillessen, to cover the loss of De Gea, Bayern Munich’s Bastian Schweinsteiger and Real Madrid duo Sergio Ramos and Karim Benzema.
Manchester United have lately committed £150m to getting all the deals done, with reports saying the Red Devils are hopeful of doing business quickly in the transfer window. The scouting team have turned their attention to Sergio Ramos amid talks that he’s struggling to agree to an extension of contract at Madrid.
