Juventus are ready to sacrifice Arturo Vidal in order to keep hold of Paul Pogba this summer, news which may be music to Arsenal's ears.
The Gunners have been strongly linked with the Chile international after manager Arsene Wenger admitted he is a firm fan of the player.
And Vidal may be available this summer as Juventus fight to keep hold of Pogba.
Juventus are keen to make their own additions without the need to sell Pogba and according to Italian daily Gazzetta dello Sport, that may mean Vidal is offloaded to fund further transfer activity.
The Bianconeri have already spent €32m on Paulo Dybala, but are also eyeing signing either Edinson Cavani or Gonzalo Higuain, especially as Carlos Tevez may move on.
But to do that Juventus may need to offload Vidal, which would bring much needed funds flowing into the club.
Vidal came close to joining Manchester United last summer and has also been linked with Liverpool.
Arsenal and Real Madrid are his most recent suitors however.
