Veteran defender Sylvain Distin is set to return 'home' by moving to Bournemouth when the transfer window officially opens on Wednesday.
Sylvain Distin, 37, is heading for Bournemouth
Distin, 37, is looking forward to living again in prestigious Sandbanks, dubbed The Millionaires' Playground, where he had a house when playing for Portsmouth between 2007 and 2009.
The lure of going back to the south coast was a key factor in the Frenchman opting to join newly-promoted Bournemouth following his release from Everton at the end of last season.
Bournemouth boss Eddie Howe, whose side returned to pre-season training on Saturday, has already been busy in the transfer market signing goalkeeper Adam Federici and Artur Boruc and signing Ipswich Town full-back Tyrone Mings in a deal that could rise to £10million.
Ipswich boss Mick McCarthy, who got Brett Pitman and Ryan Fraser as part of the Mings deal, hopes the sale will allow The Tractor Boys to fend off interest for top-scorer Daryl Murphy and add a new winger.
